Infants/Toddlers

6 weeks – 32 months

The infant/toddler program serves children from the age of six weeks until the age two years and eight months. The program is designed to promote feelings of belonging and loving care which help our youngest group of children to grow and develop to their full potential.

  • Every infant is an individual with unique abilities, desires and emotions. Our program is designed to meet the individual needs of each child and to provide them with educational experiences. In our infant classrooms, we provide a creative and stimulating program which encourages visual, language, gross motor and small motor experiences to enhance learning through their own natural curiosity.
  • Our young toddlers spend individual time with teachers as well as participate in very small groups with peers and adults throughout the day. Their emerging language and social skills are developed through music, movement, sensory experiences, language, and the exploration of their environments. Throughout the day toddlers enjoy the large variety of play materials that are readily made available to them, as well as creative centers where children can build with blocks, and experiment in the sensory table. Art, music, and language activities geared to little hands are also introduced.
 

Preschool

2.5 years – 5 years

Our preschool program serves children aged 2.5-4 years and is designed to meet the overall needs of preschoolers, and facilitate their development through age-appropriate experiences. The classroom environment allows children easy access to educational toys, materials, and books, enabling them to initiate and expand their activities. It is organized with areas for block play, manipulative toys, art creativity, dramatic play, and reading, in addition to larger spaces for group activities. The preschool curriculum involves learning through discovery and exploration. Our educational program focuses on each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development by offering concrete, hands-on activities for the children to explore.

 

Before & After School

K – 5th Grade

Adelbrook Hilltop is a full child care center and provides extended care for school age children between the hours of ​6:30am-9am and 3:30pm-5:30pm. Our School Age Program offers a time for children to finish homework, enjoy outdoor time, read, play or create art. The curriculum is built on several learning areas including: language and literacy, mathematical thinking, scientific thinking, social studies, personal and social development, physical development and the arts.
