Julie Piepenbring is the Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, and oversees all the clinical operations in Ädelbrook congregate care and community based services. As an advocate for START informed services she ensures collaboration throughout systems of care and the provision of comprehensive service delivery.
Ms. Piepenbring began her career at Ädelbrook as the Program Director of Esther House, one of Ädelbrook’s Therapeutic Group Homes. In 2011 she became the Director of START and oversaw the development of the CT START Program (START: Systemic, Therapeutic, assessment, Respite and Treatment). She was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer, in 2013 overseeing the Community Services, Inc. professional services and all the residential clinical services.
Ms. Piepenbring received both her Bachelor and Master degrees of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, and her doctorate of social work with Fordham University.
Aside from here work at Ädelbrook, she is in private practice where she specializes in working with children and families. She is an instructor in the Social Work Department at Southern Connecticut State University.
