This week, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for use among children ages 12-15.

 

Therefore, as outlined in the Governor’s press release, the State of Connecticut is preparing to make the Pfizer vaccine available to children as young as 12 through several channels: pharmacies, mass vaccination sites, some primary care providers, and school-led efforts.
