Julie Piepenbring is the Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, and oversees all the clinical operations in our congregate care and community based services. She ensures effective collaboration across the various systems in Ädelbrook’s continuum of care. Aside from her work at Ädelbrook, she has a private practice where she specializes in working with children and families, and is an instructor in the Social Work Department at Southern Connecticut State University.
Martin “Marty” Zibuda is one of Ädelbrook’s amazing volunteers. Marty is a committee member for all of Ädelbrook’s fundraisers and is always at the ready to do what needs to be done the day of the event. The many donations he brings in both financial and in kind are a testament to his relationship with the community. Marty lives in Cromwell with his wife Jane and enjoys golfing, the Red Sox and UCONN Basketball. Make sure you say hi to him at our next event!
Mihaela is a student at the Transitional Academy II. Since her sophomore year she’s been a student at The Learning Center in Cromwell. One thing she is most looking forward to is working in Ädelbrook’s Bark-ery. Mihaela is one of the most positive people you’ll have the pleasure to meet. Whenever you greet her she is quick to tell you how well she’s doing and the next great thing she’s looking forward to. She hopes to be an advocate for others with autism and anxiety disorders.
Matt goes above and beyond in his duties as a job coach at the Ädelbrook Transitional Academy. He makes sure all our young adults receive all the tools they need so they are successful in their workplaces. He is kind and thoughtful and offers to do extra duties with students like taking students to the post office for life skills lessons and also offering to pick up extra work shifts in order to fulfil our commitments in the community. Matt is a true asset to the Ädelbrook team.
