Campus Residential

Ädelbrook’s residential treatment program is accredited through the Council on Accreditation (COA) and serves individuals ages 12-22. This program is funded through the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Carelon, and school districts.

We provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can thrive. Our residential program is designed to support personal growth, skill development, and independence through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

Residential Extension Homes

As residents grow and gain greater independence, they have the opportunity to transition into one of our two community-based extension homes:

Greenbriar & Genesis House

These homes provide a supportive next step in our continuum of care, offering:

  • The same high-quality clinical and behavioral supports
  • Expanded opportunities for community involvement
  • Continued growth in daily living and independence skills
  • Ongoing therapeutic services tailored to each resident.

Our goal is to help prepare individuals for successful, independent living in the broader community.

Supporting Growth and Independence

At Ädelbrook, our residential treatment program empowers individuals to reach their fullest potential through individualized behavioral support, social skill building, and community engagement. With personalized support and access to on-campus education, our programs help individuals grow in confidence, build life skills, and prepare them for a smooth and successful transition to the next level of care.

Individualized Behavioral Support

Our residential programs emphasize community involvement and the development of essential life skills for successful integration into everyday living. Residents receive personalized behavioral support plans and care based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). These supports are integrated with each resident’s overall treatment plan, promoting a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach that encourages positive behavior and greater independence. This approach supports meaningful growth and lasting progress.

Transition to Lower Levels of Care

Our residential program is designed to help residents achieve key treatment goals that prepare them for successful transitions to less restrictive settings, such as family homes, foster care, or group home settings. Through individualized support, skill-building, and collaborative care planning, residents gain the confidence, independence, and practical abilities needed to thrive in their next environment.

Social Skills & Community Integration

Residents engage in a variety of activities within the residential campus and have opportunities to interact with peers across programs. These experiences include life skills instruction, fostering relationship building, and teamwork. Helping individuals develop the social skills needed for greater independence and confidence in various settings.

Educational Opportunities

Individuals in the residential program have the opportunity to attend one of our accredited special education academies. This promotes collaboration and wrap-around services amongst programs.
